moving to the country part 5

those first months were a kind of anxious magic. we hadn’t thought this through. we had no idea how to do anything (like build a kitchen, bathroom, house, landscape, install heating systems, and plumbing and windows and) but we woke up every morning to all of this space and all of this sun and watched a lot of diy youtube videos and chatted with new neighbours and slowly started unraveling into this new life.
