​after we met, dari and i became fast friends. he started  recording my songs, and generally being inseparable from one another. I had just arrived home from a trip to the UK and africa, and hadn't yet been home to visit my family in ottawa. dari was leaving on a tour with xavierrudd, and their first show was in ottawa, so i threw my sahara sandy backpack in the van and came along...
